Care advices :

The wrapping around the stones was made by hand using solid silver wire (.950 silver). Here, I chose to keep the silver’s natural color, and just polished it carefully by hand to highlight the details of the wire work.

To preserve the silver’s look, and to protect the stone, I recommend to avoid putting your pendant in waterfor extended periods of time (bath, shower, swimming in a pool or sea, etc), and to practice physical activities.

The metal’s tone/shade can still evolve with time and wear. You can clean it with a soft cloth, and some warm, soapy water, to get its original brightness back.

I also recommend that you store your pendant in its box while you’re not wearing it, in a clean and dry place.

Warning: welo opals are “hydrophane”. Therefore, if they come into contact with water, they will absorb it, which can cause changes in the appearance of the opal: its base will lighten, become more transparent, and its colored lights will fade or disappear. . This effect may be reversed by letting the opal dry naturally (no hair dryer, heat or other), but it can take a few days to a few weeks. In some cases, the opal will have been destabilized too much and will not or only partially recover its original aspect. This is not systematic, but it is frequent enough that it is preferable to avoid contact with water.
